Life with two

 

Life here with two kids has been pretty good. Bryan has the week off, and has been such a great help. He takes Madi out on adventures everyday, makes sure the house is kept up, and is just great company to have around. I am healing really fast, and feel great too which I feel so blessed about. C-section recoveries are way worse than the natural. Hannah is a sweet little baby. She doesn't cry much at all, makes the funniest/cutest faces, and is just so sweet. Madison is still taking to her well also. We are feeling very blessed in this house.

 Madison likes to hold Hannah every once in a while, and she has even enjoyed a few Dora's with her. She also started letting me do her hair a few days ago, which is fun for me. She always protested and then on Sunday she let me put it up, and has had no problem since. She looks so cute with her little pigtails!

Welcome Hannah!

Welcome Hannah Jannilyn White! She joined our family Wednesday Jan. 23rd at 9:57am. She was 7.07 pounds, and 20.5 inches long. She is such a sweetheart, and we are so excited to have her as part of our family.

 

 

 Delivery wiped her out, she has basically been asleep since her arrival.

 Madison took to Hannah really well. When she first saw her she kept going awww, awww, and then would give her a kiss. I was really happy to see her initial reaction be warm and loving. She is going to be great big sister.

Family day out

Today we had a family outing to the mall where madi got to go on a train ride play at the arcade we got lunch and finally got my wedding ring sized. It was long over due!

Mama Shower

This last weekend my friends had a mama shower for me. A group of us went and got pedicures and then had lunch. It was such a wonderful and relaxing day. I loved the idea and loved celebrating baby #2 this way!

A little more birthday love

On Sunday, which was Madi's real birthday we had some of our good friends come over, and Madi got to be sung to one more time.

 Once she went to bed we played some serious Joker. The competition was tight and each team came out winning 2 games each.

 Last Monday was Madi and Claire's last day together too, what sweet friends!

Madison turns 2

Last Sunday Madison officially turned 2. I don't know where the time went! We had a little party for her with her friends. We did her favorite things. She loves pizza and birthday cake, so that was the menu. We sang her favorite songs, played ring around the rosies, played freeze dance, opened presents, and winded the night down watching a Dora with her friends.  Madi is a lot of fun these days. She loves to color, sing, dance, play at the park, go on adventures, take care of her baby dolls and be with her friends. She can talk well. We had her Dr. appt. and she is 25.5 pounds (31%) and 3 feet tall (91%). We love her so much!

Christmas

This Christmas we got to go to AZ to be with family. It was such  fun trip, and it was so good to visit with friends and family.

 On Christmas eve we went caroling at the homeless shelter and then went home to open presents. Madi loved it, and after each present she would say "Oh my goodness!" It was cute. Here are the girls in their new chairs
