Hannah turns 2!!

Little Hannah turned 2 last week. She is so full of life and spunk, and I seriously couldn't imagine life with our her. She is constantly keeping us on our toes of what she will come up with next. She loves her beverages, she loves to laugh, she is very independent and does not like help, she is super energetic and crazy, and exhausting at times, and yet so wonderful and fun and amazing all at the same time. I wish I could just capture her funny and corky personality so I never forget, This girl is always making me laugh!

Here she is at her birthday party. Instead of jumping on all the fun trampolines, she buried herself under the foam pit.
Which is why her pigtails look like this!

Here is how I found her room the other day. When I walked in she looked so startled and guilty.
This was the day before. Almost every day I go in after nap I find some surprise like this.
Here she is watching a show, which for some reason makes me crack up too. She really is just the best! Happy Birthday Hannah!

Last week me and Bryan were able to get away just the 2 of us and go on a cruise. It was so fun to just have it be the 2 of us. The first day we stopped off at Nassau Bahamas where we went to the Atlantis hotel and spent the day there. We got to see the slides that go into shark tanks, we went on their rapids river, lounged on their private beaches, watched dolphins, and went around the aquarium. Its an amazing hotel, but the Bahamas themselves...a little sketchy. We were aware of this when Bryan went to buy a water bottle and someone snatched at his wallet.
The next day was the cruise ships private island. This day was spent reading on a lawn chair, and kayaking.

The last day was spent in Key West. In this picture we are the furthest point south in the continental U.S, just 90 miles from Cuba. We found a delicious Key Lime pie, got Cuban Sandwich's, and spent to much money at a touristy candy store. They are just so irresistible. It was a great day just walking around and exploring the city.
Our evenings were spent eating dinner, listening to and watching the entertainment on the ship, playing canasta (which seemed to cause the most contention of the entire trip!), and of course walking outside the ship and contemplating what you would do if you ever fell off the ship, or if your child did, and how dark and scary it is in the middle of the ocean.

Now I am just longing for the next time I get my best friend to myself again!

Madison turns 4

Madison turned 4 this week, and it was a week of celebration! Her and her cousin Nyah have the same birthday so we got to sing to them, and have a smores party for Sunday dinner.

On her actual birthday we went and got our nails done. She picked sparkly blue.
We took her to Peter Piper Pizza with just our family, and then got her a new bike at walmart she picked out her self.
The next day she had a princess party where all of her cute little girl friends came over to celebrate. Madison was Elsa, along with most of the other little girls!
Hannah was Ariel for the party!

Madison is such a blessing in our home. She loves to help people, and make them feel special. She is always telling me how much she loves me, and always wants to be my helper. She loves playing with her friends, singing, and if she had it her way she would watch dragon tails all day long. She is one special girl!
